Dr. Marisa Armeno

Dr. Marisa Armeno is a pediatrician specializing in child nutrition, with academic training at the University of Buenos Aires and a doctorate in medicine.

Trained in pediatrics and child nutrition at the JP Garrahan Pediatric Hospital, she has extensive experience in the clinical-nutritional management of complex pathologies, particularly in early childhood obesity, genetic and secondary obesity, neurometabolic diseases and ketogenic therapies, with an approach based on scientific evidence and interdisciplinary practice.

He has trained at leading international centers, including the Johns Hopkins Center,  The University of Pavia and the University of Milan. She has also completed her academic training in research at Harvard University and holds a doctorate in medicine from the UCA.

He actively participates in national scientific societies such as the Argentine Society of Nutrition, and international ones such as the International Neurological Ketogenic Society and the International League Against Epilepsy, contributing to academic and clinical development in the area of nutritional therapies for neurological diseases and childhood obesity.

She has maintained a sustained teaching and research career, publishing in international scientific journals and participating in the training of healthcare professionals in Latin America and other countries. Her work integrates clinical practice, research, and medical education, focusing on the development of safe, effective nutritional strategies tailored to each patient.
